Vegan Wine & Tapas Event: A Night to Remember at A Wee Taste in Edinburgh 🍷

On July 11th, we hosted a wonderful wine and dining experience at A Wee Taste, a stunning wine and grazing bar in Edinburgh. Guests enjoyed four perfectly paired wines curated by A Wee Taste's wine expert, along with four delicious cicchetti (tapas) and finger foods from us!

✨ THE MENU 

1st Wine: Prosecco Rosé Spumante - Lamberti - Veneto, Italy

1st Cicchetto: Bresaola-style roll with soft plant-based cheese, plant-based yogurt, walnuts, basil, parsley and melon wrapped in chives with a drizzle of olive oil and pistachio crumble

2nd Wine: Pinot Blanc - Dunavar - Pannon - Hungary

2nd Cicchetto: 'Nduja -style spread and dill layered on grilled polenta (slight spicy)

3rd Wine: Chenin Blanc - Running Duck Western Cape - South Africa

3rd Cicchetto: Späck-style roll with courgette, plant-based soft cheese and olives on sourdough bread

4th Wine: Consult Sinso - Chile

4th Cicchetto: Pastrami-style slice, soft plant-based cheese, sauerkraut, pickle and mustard on sourdough bread

 

This was more than just an event; it was an experience! Guests sipped and savored at their own pace, guided by informative cards for each delectable pairing. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming, allowing for pure enjoyment. Thank you so much to everyone who joined us. It was a fantastic evening filled with great food, wine, and company.
