The delivery to the Scottish Highlands (my postcode is PH36) took two days (which, I think, is a shame considering it's only being delivered from Glasgow, and not from England). It was costly, so I expected that DPD would deliver in a refrigerated van. Silly me! It was just a normal delivery, and while Sgaia did their best to use an ice pack, this was obviously completely melted at the time of delivery. Pretty disappointing. I do not see any added value in paying the extra 8 quid, for what?? Royal Mail would have probably delivered it quicker and cheaper. Plus DPD didn't even bother to send any email or text with the estimated day/time of delivery, which Royal Mail always does. And the delivery driver seemed irritated. Pathetic service.
